1998 La Maison & Velier Flag Series Guyana Rum -700mL

Celebrating their 5th anniversary, La Maison & Velier introduces their Flag Series to the US Market, including this single cask 1998 Guyana edition. The Flag Series line-up consists of single casks from different countries and and years of production, bottled at cask strength, “au naturel,” with no coloring, no additives, and no filtration. This molasses-based rum was produced by Demerara Distillers in their famous Port Mourant still. The double-aged rum was initially aged for two years in ex-bourbon barrels in Guyana, then transferred to a Port cask and aged for an additional 22 years in France, then bottled at 60% ABV.
