This blend of column and pot still rum was distilled at the Foursquare Distillery in 2012, aged 8 years in ex-bourbon casks onsite in Barbados, and then a further year inside ex-port casks in New York. Holmes Cay Barbados 2012 Port Cask is bottled at cask strength, or 55% ABV. Only five casks of this premium, 9 year old rum were produced. On the nose, plum and cherry lead. Light caramel, honey and oak on the palate yield to raisin and stone fruit with a crisp, oaky finish.
