Rye Whiskey is bold, distinctive and finishing a rum in rye barrels is uncommon. The finishing took place in Panama with barrels sourced from a well known distillery in Kentucky. The result is a remarkable combination of spice and subtle sweetness.

EXPLORATION I like to explore and challenge my senses. One particular way is by introducing new flavors to my palate which is why I find finishing rum in distinctive casks to be exciting. Once I find a cask that intrigues me, I send it to Panama to begin the process of finishing or double maturation. Whatever term you choose to use, the idea is the same – to add new layers of flavors that will tantalize your senses.
