The Boss Hog X redefines tradition with a double finish inspired by the mythic "land of milk and honey." This unique Straight Rye Whiskey starts its journey aging in new American Oak barrels before undergoing a two-part finishing process. The first finish is in barrels seasoned with our own experimental spirit, made from rye and whey and infused with aromatic resins like Frankincense and Myrrh. This adds intriguing notes of crème brûlée, lemongrass, and rosemary. The final finish takes place in craft mead casks, imparting a smooth, rounded profile with hints of red berries and freshly crushed black pepper.
