This is a reposado tequila distilled from Blue Weber Agave and aged in Blanton's Bourbon Barrels
Nose: Sweet vanilla, honey, cream. Faint agave character, some pepper and papaya. Pretty bourbon-y with a hint of tequila character.
Taste: Thin on the palate, sweet cream and agave with pepper and a faint bitterness. Really interesting, especially how much pepper and mineral bitterness there is. ABV feels alright, still thin but not drinking hot at all, so that's nice.
Finish: Short, sweet and oaky, fairly one noted here. Not a ton going on, and a hint of that bitterness remains.
Overall:, A good tequila for the value, great for collector's of both obscure tequilas and fans of Buffalo Trace finishes.
